The Meeting with India's Customer Today

Today I received two customers coming from India where a country is located next to China. At the beginning, I was afraid that there might be a communication problem, for I am unfamiliar with their culture.

I was driving them to my company after picking them up at the airport. I was trying to understand more about their background and culture by asking a number of questions, yet their response to me was not involved enough in our conversation.

They seemed very happy with our products after a factory tour. On the way for dinner, they started to chat about their religion. They are Jainism that developing in ancient India; they are vegetarians for several generations. They make their family name same as their religion “Jain”, and their main principle is not killing every living beings. The Jainism is about 19% in their population.


It was around 10:30 to send them back to hotel, and they were appreciating our kind receiving. It was a great meeting today.

Lottery

If I won a lottery, a big prize, I would divide it into 3 portions. First portion, I would make investments. I would prefer buying real estate to stocks or mutual fund. Second portion, I would donate my money to charity. The proverb saying “Enough is as good as feast”; so I would share with people in luck. The last portion, I would save it for a rainy day because sometimes unexpected things would happen. “Every dog has his day”; good luck.

Love Letter

It was late at night. The peacefulness lay much more in happiness in my mind than in silence at street. The moon cast some dim light on blue curtain, and the winds breezed the skirt of curtain. Even though I was tired, I would rather stare at your face than fall asleep.

My dear, a number of wrinkles spread out obviously on your forehead and your eyes; you were getting much older than it should be within the ten years. The more wrinkles had, the more efforts you did for our family.

Our family is always a prior obligation to your life. You were always coming home for dinner no matter how busy you were, and you never left behind us to attend any business party or tourist. You were always checking on children’s homework when I was coming late; and you were always worrying about the family expense alone. If we were sad then you did, you are a good husband and a good father.

I am so lucky as to have your love to me and to the family. Kissed you on the check to say good night; my love.

Where Do You Want to Live After Retirement

For my choice, I would rather live in the countryside than the city. Living in countryside can bring me benefits as following.

First of all, I can cotton the mountains in a short distance. The mountains can be my neighbors where I can get there by foot. I can spend most of time a day in the mountain as I like.

Next I can eat what I plant. It is unnecessary for me to worry about the poison fruits and vegetables. I will plant organic orchard in season so that I can enjoy them instantly.

The last one is away the crowed environment. Most of time, I like to be alone. Sometimes I feel dizzy when I standing over in crowded. Moreover, I am not talkative in public.

In short, living in countryside with my husband after retirement is my first choice. I can image what a sweet home will be then.

How We Met

I remember freshly that he blinked his eyes and twisted his nose; he was trying to make me laugh at the first sight. He dressed in formal and smiled at me, a kind of silly smile, when I was still in a confusion he sat right down next to me.

After talking for a while, he asked my phone number and got away for his business. Surprisingly, I received his phone call when I returning to home at night.

After that, we start to date with each other. At the beginning, we spend most of time in the mountain climbing as I am a mountain-goer. When three months passed away, we engaged and got married after the next 2 months.

My Elementary School

My elementary school is a good place because it is located in countryside. Lots of natural views are surrounding our school.

On the left-hand side of the classroom, I can see a hill farther in the school’s wall. In the summer, the white and pink flowers bloom alternatively. When petals were falling down, we were picking them up in the break time.

There is a fish pond in the front of the playing ground; I can hear the frog singing over the summer afternoon. Sometimes my classmates were catching some frogs to scare of us, but I was not afraid.

What a happy time when I studied at elementary school. Although it was far away from my childhood, I will never forget it.

Farewell, My Classmates

I was attending my university commencement party on Sunday night. I felt interchangeably happy with sadness. I am glad of the effect on learning English subject and expanding my life view through my classmates. In addition, I can share more time with my family; I left my family behind and went to school on weekend.

On the other hand, I am sad over the ending. Seeing the shows presented by my classmates and teachers at commencement party, I swept my tears away by stealth. A proverb saying, "All good things come to an end. However, I hope the day would come later.

Autumn – My Favorite Season

The distance of the earth rotate surrounding the sun bring us four seasons - spring, summer, autumn and winter, they make our life more interchangeable. There are different views to every season. However, I am fond of autumn particularly for its romantic feeling.

The first view is maple leaves. When the maple leaves in several layers of orange color swing in the wind, their moving way is like that of a jazz dancer. I found it romantic at the moment.

The second view is sunset at the beach. When the sunset casts flamed on the ocean, the sound of tide flows over my spirit. I ran across the sand and I lost myself in the romantic picture.

Another view is the moon which shines brightly particularly. When holding barbeque at night and talk over wine with my families, I enjoy myself in leisure.

These romantic feeling have made my expectation, and can not be comparison. The autumn make my life in expectation, and I like the romantic feeling in the Autumn.

Italian Restaurant, Swiss Restaurant at The Corner of My Home

The Italian and Swiss restaurant located at the corner of my home are served customer in different aspects. The famous dishes in Italian restaurant are spaghetti, cream of tomato soup and coffee “Espresso”. The famous Swiss dishes, on the other hand, are famous in Fundo, Chocolate Pot and desert “Sufflet”. The painting surrounding in Italian restaurant is multicolored, whereas the painting surrounding in Swiss restaurant is single color. The waitresses in Italian one are passionate, whereas the waiters in Swiss restaurant always gave us a cold shoulder. Moreover, the average price we expended in Italian is worthy of our meal, while in Swiss restaurant is pricey. Although Swiss restaurant is more expensive than Italian one, both restaurants are severed delicious dishes for their customers.
